FAST 240 Compact polypropylene honeycomb panel for temporary fences
Description:
• Ultra-light
• Shock and compression resistance
• Smooth external surfaces suitable for digital printing
• Resistant to corrosion and weathering
• Easy to handle and process
• Fully recyclable
The NMP series panels are made of polypropylene honeycomb and are used for closing building sites located in urban areas. The material’s characteristics make the plates light and easy to install, while maintaining high resistance.
The smooth and neutral surface also allows the application of informative or advertising posters.
CAUTION
The installation must comply with current national and regional regulations concerning construction site safety. The installer must assess the mode of installation in order to ensure maximum safety for both construction site personnel and the general public.
COMIVA disclaims all civil and criminal liability arising from inappropriate use of the product supplied.

How to install
To temporarily fence off an area of the construction site, gap-filling panels are commonly used: undulated metal and plastic materials.
In the latter category, FAST 240 is an optimal solution used widely in northern Europe.
Both types are installed on a classic frame prepared with suitably sized timber.
Screws are used to secure the panels together with appropriately sized fixing washers which ensure the right “tightness”.
This will assure that the installation is reliable and that the panels may be reused repeatedly over time.
Save as provided by the legal obligations concerning safety in the workplace, and specifically pertaining to construction sites, it is emphasised that experience and common sense should guide the assembly of the fence.
In particular, it is important to evaluate the weather conditions, particularly the frequency and intensity of the winds and rainfall that are typical in the area. These factors will determine the appropriate number of fasteners per panel.
A technical note: the panels should be mounted with a reciprocal spacing of at least 1 or 2 cm in order to counteract thermal dilatation in hot weather.
