How to use it
Description:
Reinforce opening
The sides of openings are reinforced with Fisufor® so as to prevent fracture at the corners.
The recommended minimum reinforcement is:
• reinforcement in the 2/3 joints immediately below the parapet and 2/3 courses of bricks above the lintel.
• The reinforcements are inserted within an ideal area of 50 cm above and below the opening (figure 3).
Stands
Fisufor® is arranged at the base of the wall for the first 2 joints, preventing the risk of fracture.
Corners
• The corners must be “tied” by cutting and bending one of the parallel wires as shown in the figure.
• The corner’s reinforcement must continue for the entire length of the wall.
Sister joints
For masonry with sister joints, Fisufor® must be inserted in all the joints.

* Indicative arrangement. For correct sizing, a structural design is necessary. |
