Masonry reinfocement systems Safety and reliability, with Fisufor®. With reinforcement trestle, masonry can reach extraordinary sealing levels, resistance to cracking and structural elasticity. Fisufor® complies with anti-seismic regulations. Fisufor® is a reinforcing element for masonry made of two parallel steel wires which are connected by a central wire so as to obtain a trestle structure. It is a CE certified product in accordance with EN-845-3. This reinforcement is placed horizontally on the joints between the bricks/blocks to enhance the strength of the masonry. The steel wire used in its production is in accordance with EN 10020. The main function of Fisufor® is to increase the resistance of the masonry to collapse and prevent the formation of cracks, fractures or structural failure due to excessive movement. For construction in seismic areas, the Fisufor® with 5 mm longitudinal diameter is needed; this is according to Italian regulations (Point 4.5.7 Ministerial Decree 14/01/2008 - EUROCODE 8).
