Lose structural formwork systems

This section of the catalogue presents a wide range of solutions for the creation of structural formworks. Expanded sheet metal is suitable for the creation of containing formworks systems that are at the same time structural. The sheet metal, in addition to providing the formwork, once disassembled, remains embedded in the first layer of concrete, conferring greater stability to the structure. The lose system is an innovative formwork that completely replaces the traditional wooden formworks and allows for quick and easy management of all operations - such as storage, transport, supply and installation - related to the preparation of concrete castings. This is because it has a smaller size, less difficulties in transport and storage, lower weight and greater ease of use than conventional scaffolds. It is a 0.5 mm thick sheet metal and heights of 20, 30, 40, 50 and 60 cm for a standard length of 200 cm. Additional base elements can be joined to obtain multiple sizes, or may be overlapped in part to obtain different sizes without having to cut the elements themselves. The lose system comes with some accessories such as corner pieces, plastic spacers and ties for fixing to reinforcements. Its structure is characterized by ribs, longitudinally arranged every 10 cm, which strengthen and stiffen the formwork, and by a lighter part which presents carving work. This conformation, obtained by moulding and pressing, in addition to making the element more flexible and lighter, allows for easier tying of the same reinforcements, considerably decreasing the pressure of the concrete casting on the formwork.
