COMIVA also produces sliding gates. The maximum opening clearance normally available is eight metre. The most suitable type of infill can also be chosen for sliding gates. A few of the most common models are shown on the following pages. The gate will be supplied with two or more wheels (with a suitable diameter for the size and weight of the gate), track and rack. It is possible to pre-configure the gate for motorisation at a later date. CE certification will also be provided, if requested.

According to the safety standards, the sliding gate must be fitted between two side by side posts and joined to the upper ends by a cross bar so that a sort of inverted U is obtained in which the gate slides. The two U-shaped posts must be positioned on the two sides of the gate opening.
